Information and purposes

When you use account features, we use the user identifier, email address, and, when provided, name and profile image from Apple or Google for authentication and account management. AppChart does not receive your Apple or Google password.

We store the apps you save, selected countries, list order, and account preferences so you can use your collection across devices and the web. Selecting a country chooses a storefront; it does not collect your device location.

When you contact us, we use your email address and message to respond and investigate the issue. Do not include passwords, verification codes, or login tokens.

Hosting and authentication services may process request times, IP addresses, request paths, errors, and connection information in service and diagnostic logs. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics for page usage statistics. The iOS app does not include that web analytics SDK.

External services

Supabase provides authentication and storage for accounts and saved apps. Vercel hosts the website and APIs. Apple and Google provide your chosen sign-in service and store information. Loading icons or screenshots, or opening a store link, can send standard network request information to the corresponding provider.

Processing locations and retention depend on each service's configuration and policies. The relevant provider's privacy policy also applies when you use Apple or Google sign-in and store pages.

Storage on your device

The iOS app stores its login session in Keychain and caches public app information and member collections to display content quickly. Theme and language preferences are stored locally. Signing out or deleting an account clears the app's local session and member-specific caches.

The website uses browser storage and cookies for sign-in and preferences such as language and theme. You can clear local data through your browser's site-data settings. Deleting the server account requires a separate account deletion request.

Retention and account deletion

Account and saved-app information is retained while we provide your account features. To start deletion in the iOS app, open Settings → Signed-in account → Delete AppChart account. Once deletion completes, we remove the authentication account, profile, saved apps and countries, and associated user data from the operational database. If you use the same AppChart account on the web, that collection will no longer be available there either.

This does not delete your Apple or Google account. If automatic Apple authorization revocation is unavailable, the app provides instructions for removing the connection yourself. Uninstalling the app or signing out alone does not delete your server account.

Infrastructure logs and backups expire under retention schedules separate from the account database. Information required by law is retained only within the scope and duration of that obligation. Contact the operator for specific retention or deletion questions.

Your choices and policy changes

Public rankings are available without signing in. Sign-in is needed for account features such as syncing saved apps. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. We may request proportionate identity verification to protect other people's information.

We update this page and its effective date when this policy changes. Material changes will also be communicated in the service when appropriate.
